DENT Instruments is a growing, 33-year young technology company in Bend. A leader in the energy information “green” sector, DENT manufactures energy metering and measurement equipment for customers all over the world. We include in our client list Fortune 10 companies as well as small electrical shops. We are keenly aware how our products help reduce energy use and improve efficiencies for the betterment of everyone. Now we find ourselves in need of a “can do it all” Senior Electronics Design Engineer. There are only 20 of us but we perform like a company of 100 – ask our competitors! You will be part of a team of about a half-dozen fellow geeks (including the President), but with only 20, we are not seeking a specialist to focus on one task, we need someone who, in addition to their field of expertise, enjoys and can contribute in a wide variety of ways to our continued growth. We’re a team.
Here’s an excerpt of the job functions from our ISO 9001 Quality Manual (a pretty dry read but you get the idea):
Provide design support for new product development and existing product upgrades. Use appropriate electrical analyses to evaluate design options and to ensure that design requirements will be met. Assist in the construction and testing of prototypes and qualification test units.
Project Management Communication Proficiency
Leadership Problem Solving/Analysis
Results Driven Strategic Thinking
Technical Capabilities Able to Leap Tall Buildings in a Single Bound
The position offers competitive pay, bonuses, 401k with company matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 120 hours of PTO in first year, Flexible Spending Account (Cafeteria Plan), and a great work environment. As mentioned, the President is a proud geek too.
Interested candidates should email a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include “Senior Electronics Engineer” as the subject of the email.
