Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant, Located in Bend, Oregon

DENT Instruments, a global leader in the design and manufacture of power and energy measurement instruments, seeks a Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant to join its Sales & Marketing team. The position will be based at the company's Bend, OR headquarters. The candidate will provide administrative support to the DENT Sales & Marketing team.


  • Answer multi-line phone system and transfer to appropriate staff.
  • Interact with customers via phone and email.
  • Enter sales orders, prepare quotations, customer correspondence, RFPs, and bids as required.
  • Provide administrative support including copying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Maintain and update CRM and other departmental databases as needed.
  • Answer routine product questions and direct questions to appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Assist in trade show and event coordination, planning, and logistics.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, personable, and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to work well in both a team and individual capacity.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in general office responsibilities and procedures.
  • Previous customer service or sales support experience.
  • Experience with Sage Business Works a plus.
