DENT Instruments Partners with AMX to Deliver Next-Generation Green Building Management Solutions

(DENT Instruments, Bend, OR) - DENT Instruments, a global leader in the design and manufacture of power and energy measurement instruments, today announced an InConcert partnership with building management control systems solutions provider AMX® of Richardson, Texas. The strategic alliance will allow AMX to integrate DENT's energy submetering technology into AMX's fully networked, interactive control systems for building automation, audio-visual (AV) devices and indoor environmental quality.
DENT Instruments' PowerScout™ power meters will escalate the AMX platform's efficiency, which is already LEED® points contributing, by providing accurate and timely energy consumption reporting on whole building and branch circuits. "Intelligent building automation is realized by having all components interacting based on rules set for energy consumption, scheduled occupancy, ambient light, security, and fire alarms," commented AMX Product Manager Doug Hall.
