Instruments Launches New Midi Hinged Current Transformers

(DENT Instruments, Bend, OR) — DENT Instruments, a global leader in the design and manufacture of power and energy measurement instruments, announced the introduction of new "Midi" Hinged Current Transformers (CTs). The "Midis" are  100A and 200A hinged split-core CTs designed for general metering and submetering applications with the ELITEpro SP and PowerScout instruments. They feature excellent accuracy and minimum phase angle error.
Christopher Dent, President of DENT Instruments said, "The 100A and 200A Midi CTs are great for any metering application. They are designed for tight spaces, such as when metering multiple loads within a panel board. Like DENT's Mini CTs, the Midis feature a robust "door-style" hinge that is designed for years of reliable service."
The Midi CTs produce a millivolt output and are compatible with ELITEpro SP and PowerScout instruments. They are also suitable for use with legacy DENT meters. The Midi CTs have a 1.0" (25mm) window and provide high accuracy over a wide, dynamic range.
