SOFTWARE ENGINEER FOR WINDOWS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT IN C++ AND MFC

DENT Instruments, a high-tech manufacturer with over twenty years of job stability, is seeking a talented experienced Software Engineer for Windows to join a team for the development of first class power measuring instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will assist in the development of Windows software applications and possibly future applications for Android or iPhones. The primary software platform is Windows, including: XP, Vista, Windows 7, and whatever Microsoft does next!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Programming skills in Microsoft Windows using C and C++
• 5+ years experience using MFC
• Attention to usability and esthetics of user interface
• Good problem solving abilities
• Desire to constantly learn new relevant information and apply it to the projects
• Ability to initiate and drive forward software development
• Teamwork and cooperation
• Experience in debugging and testing new software as well as ability to predict and prevent negative side effects when modifying existing code
• General knowledge of networking, experience implementing networked applications
• Experience with SVN, Bugzilla, and NSIS installer scripting a plus
• Experience working with and debugging embedded systems a plus
